You’ve gathered your adventurers, now you just need an experienced Dungeon Master to begin your heroes’ journey!
Whether for a one-shot or a long-term campaign, we will help your players embark together into a fantastical realm of monsters and magic; telling a story together through improvisation and rolls of the dice.
You provide the players and the table, and we’ll take care of the rest - the quest, character sheets, dice, maps, minis, music, and more!
My DM style prioritizes collaborative storytelling and role-play more than a traditional dungeon crawl game, and I love to work with players to create satisfying character arcs and lead you to meaningful encounters and combats that keep the plot moving forward. I named “Heroes Journey” after all my favourite stories that revolve around a cast of characters starting from obscurity, meeting the call to adventure, and rising to the role of hero together through trials, setbacks, and victories.
With my professional background in education and youth work, I am well equipped to teach and support brand new D&D players. It brings me a lot of joy to run safe and fun tables for all kinds of people, and especially those who have historically been excluded from the game. Whether a D&D adventuring party is made from a group of existing friends or through our partnership with organizations like All Out Collective to teach D&D to young folks in the 2SLGBTQIA community, respecting pronouns and being prepared to interact with characters of diverse genders and identities is a requirement to play in Heroes Journey campaigns.
All sessions are 3 hours long and include use of music, maps, and minis. Sessions can often be extended in duration for an additional $15/hour
